Aloha!

If you read my blog often you will know I am a huge Barry M Nail Polish fan. So, naturally, as soon as they released the new shades for their ‘Silk’ collection I had to go out & buy them. They have released 3 new shades to the collection called, Orchid, Poppy & Forest. Sadly the Poppy shade was sold out so I could only pick up Orchid & Forest.

Today I will be reviewing my favourite of the shades, Orchid.

This glorious shade of purple is a fantastic Autumn/Winter shade, I think you will agree?

It is a really deep plum shade which is super easy to apply, I think Barry M have wonderful brushes with all their polishes.

This is how it looked after 3 coats, but you could totally get away with just 2! I have never been a fan of the ‘matte’ look nail trend but I am just loving the Silk Collection. This colour is so deep & luxurious, it is definitely my new favourite. It has a lovely sheen to it & I imagine it would look lovely with a glitter polish over the top… perfect for Christmas!

Next week I will be reviewing the ‘Forest’ shade which is the most perfect shade of winter green I have ever seen.
