I have been busy for a couple of weeks adding some new updates to my wardrobe in time for Autumn. For me, this season is all about fur (faux of course!) lace & silk. I think all 3 fabrics work in perfect harmony plus I am a total Stevie Nicks wannabe (love that lady!).
Anyway, lets get started on my new threads shall we?
First up is this beautiful Faux Fur Gilet which I bought from H&M. At £29.99 it was a little more than I intended to spend but it is good quality & I can see it working with so much of my current wardrobe. I opted for the grey/black colour but it is also available in black or brown.
Another purchase from H&M is this dainty Silk & Lace Cami. I use to have a cami very much like this from Topshop however, it was too big & I ended up giving it to a charity shop. This little number fits me perfectly & was a bargain at only £7.99.
I couldn’t resist these 2 gorgeous Lace Skater Dresses from Forever 21. They cost me £11.00 each which I think is a steal. They will work great with my faux fur gilet. I bought both black & Dusky Pink but the dress also is available in white.
Yes, I know, ANOTHER lace piece, but I just couldn’t resist. I think I was attracted to this top because it reminds me of Morticia Addams crossed with Stevie Nicks, (just me?). It cost £12.99 & is from H&M…. another piece that will look lovely with my gilet.
More fur, I am somewhat obsessed at the moment. I didn’t actually intend to buy another fur coat at all because I already have a short fur jacket but, I saw a gorgeous (very similar) coat to this in Primark & convinced myself I needed one. The Primark version had a collar & was priced at £25.00 but my size was sold out. Two days later I was in TK Maxx & I spotted this baby. It was £24.99 & I preferred it to the Primark version. Long story short this coat is my favourite Autumn buy so far. Love!
Finally I bought 2 skater dresses from Primark. Can you believe they were only £2.00 each? Me either! I love them both & I have already had plenty of wear out of the Navy one, best £2.00 I ever spent!
I also have some other buys that I haven’t shared with you. One is a jumper that I was wearing at the time & too lazy to take off & photograph. The other is a very cosy cardigan I bought from Primark that just wouldn’t hang right on the coat hanger, don’t you just hate that?
I also have some AMAZING boho hats that I bought from Primark, if you follow me on Instagram you will have seen them! I also bought some gorgeous boots from H&M that I will share with you all soon.
What do you think of my Fall updates? have you made any new purchases of your own in time for the new season?
Peace, love & light, Kate x
