Monthly Mani: Ice Cream Theme

I am super excited to join in a new Monthly Mani series which will take place every 3rd Wednesday of every month!

I was very happy to be invited my one of my favourite bloggers, Kristi from Alligator Toe to join in the fun.

Since July is National Ice Cream month in the USA, Ice Cream was chosen to be this months theme.

I would have loved to have designed some awesome nail art with an ice cream theme but I am rubbish at nail art. I have the most unsteady hands & every attempt has ended in disaster!

So instead of nail art, I decided to use 3 different sugary shades of my favourite nail polishes, Barry M Gelly Collection.

I chose 3 shades that remind me of my favourite ice creams, Mint, Strawberry & Vanilla!

I have raved about these polishes a lot in the past & if you have already used them then you will know why I love them so!

The shades I used were Sugar Apple, Rose Hip & Coconut.

Here is the result! I love how they turned out & the mix of colours is so cute. I love sugary pastel shades!

I can’t wait to see what ideas everyone else came up with. Here is a list of all the other lovely bloggers that have joined in this months #MonthlyMani

Kristi from Alligator Toe
Piniel from Pins-Place
Justine from The Two Cent Chick
Landerbell from Just The Polish
Miche from Buttons and Birdcages
Jacki & Leslie from Sistas from Cali

  1. Ooh I love all of these pretty pastel shades! It makes me think of going to an old fashion soda fountain, wearing a poodle skirt and getting a hot fudge sundae – I love it! Beautiful choice!! 🙂

  2. Beautiful, glorious ice cream-y colors! My range of creativity is pretty much the accent nail and polka dots…beyond that, I can’t really do nail art either haha 🙂 Great job!!!
