MUA Matte Perfect Loose Powder Review

Recently I have heard more & more good things about Makeup Academy. At first I was a little reluctant to give them a try mostly because I prefer more ‘high end’ expensive products when it comes to make-up. My favourites being Clarins & Estee Lauder. However, I can’t even begin to tell you how glad I am that I gave MUA a try.

I am now a MUA convert. Whilst browsing their website, the Matte Perfect Loose Powder is the first item I added to my basket. I suffer from an oily t-zone & so a good loose powder is a must for me. It is shade ‘translucent’ & so it will match any skin tone.

It claims;

“Make-up Academy’s Matte Perfect Loose Translucent Powder is an extremely lightweight sheer and silky setting powder. This finely milled loose powder fixes your foundation in place, perfect for minimising oiliness and unwanted shine. The micro fine featherweight texture means that it never looks powdery or feels heavy over foundation. It disappears on the skin brightening up your make up whilst keeping it in place throughout the day”

My verdict;

This stuff bloody works! I can’t express enough how much I love this powder. I put it on this morning, paying special attention to my T-Zone. By 4pm I was starting to get a hint of shine, nothing major – this is a first for me. Normally the shine starts hours before that so I was super impressed.

It set my make-up perfectly & I felt like it gave my face a lovely glow (maybe this is because I was so happy with this wonderful product!)

I can’t believe the price – £2.30! Yes….really!! I usually use Clarins or Estee Lauder Loose Powder which sets me back £30.00 a jar & so it is very expensive when you are on a budget. These powders don’t even compare to the MUA Matte Perfect, MUA is in a whole different league!

I have tried many loose powders over the years to help my T-Zone & nothing has worked as well as MUA.

I just can’t wait to try out the pressed powder & palette, I am sure they will both be amazing!

I am now a MUA convert & I am so happy I have finally found the perfect loose powder. I will definitely be re-buying this & I really hope you will try it out too.
