Aloha! Today I went to Newcastle with my Brother so we could go to Ikea & the Metro Centre. I have only just discovered the awesomeness that is Ikea. I could not believe how cheap everything was. I bought a few bits & pieces to put away for when Chris & I have our own place. I bought some lovely vases, one pink & one green & they were only 25p each….wow!
We then headed to the Metro Centre which is just shopping heaven & although I didn’t spend much I bought a couple of things from Primark.
I bought this really cute Ditsy Duvet Cover for my room. I am really tempted to buy the King Size version for when Chris & I move in – love the print!
I also bought this Mens T-Shirt for only £5.00. Yes, it is mens but I bought size XS & I plan to cut along the collar & tie the front part together to make it more fitted. I couldn’t resist it, I love the retro print. My Brother also bought one so we will make to make sure we don’t wear them on the same day!
After our shopping we went into Krispy Kreme, they have a cafe in Newcastle.
I also bought a Latte for the journey home – yum yum!
I have had a really nice day & I have really enjoyed my 4 days off. I am off tomorrow & hopefully booking a holiday & then I will be back to work on Wednesday – boo!
