I am not usually a negative person but when I look ahead & see this is the forecast for this week my spirits were somewhat dampened.
I went on the sunbed (naughty I know) but it always cheers me up, so warm & a tan. Whilst I was waiting I was listening to the news on the radio…. more bad news. Blizzards are all over the UK, humans are becoming immune to antibiotics & in 20 years time even routine operations could become deadly & finally the UK is still in recession with at least 40 people going after one job. The news is always so negative & I probably should have blocked my ears to keep out the negative news. I wish there was a ‘happy’ news station which was full of the good things in life. All the good things that have happened in the world & no bad stuff like war & death.
Anyway, I am rambling a little. To cheer myself up I have been preparing all my lovely maxi dresses. Hanging them all on wooden hangers & lining them up in my wardrobe ready for the sun.
I have put together a photo collage of some of my most favourite dresses & skirts.
I am certainly prepared!

This is a fantastic idea! I too am fed up with the weather here in the UK but just keep motivating myself by reading cheerful blogs and thinking happy sunny thoughts, lol. I am sat here with a hot drink and my scarf on after getting back from the shops and feeling freezing, but I refuse to let it get me down. Nice to see someone else is trying to keep positive too. I think I’m the only one that loves (well, maybe not loves but likes) the weather at the moment. Dare I say, I love it when it snows. I enjoy layering my clothes so winter is perfect for me! Sorry, I know its an unpopular response 😦
I am sure you are not the only one, I know a few people who prefer Winter to Summer. I however am so ready for Summer & sun! 🙂
