Black Long Sleeve Maxi Dress; ASOS, Leather Jacket; Miss Selfridge
Snood; New Look, Boho Bag; Bought in Egypt, Tan Belt; Therapy
Cuff; Vintage, Air Sign Necklace; Topshop
Aloha! Happy Saturday! I am so grateful for the weekend. I love nothing more than spending Saturdays with my Fiance. Today I decided I could no longer bare not wearing maxi dresses & so I took the plunge & wore one. I bought this long sleeve maxi dress with the intent of wearing it in the spring with some flip flops. Then I thought to myself, this is the perfect way to finally rock the ‘winter maxi’ look.
This dress is all black & very sleek so it is easy to style. A simple tan belt is all that was needed to pull in the waist a little.
After adding some jewellery I made my outfit ready for the cold by adding a snood, for colour & a simple leather jacket. I also wore boots to give me some extra warmth. I am so pleased with the way the look turned out & I am super happy I can now wear my maxi dresses all year round. Not all of them of course, but some.
We did a little shopping & then ended up in Costa to warm up with a hot cinnamon latte – yum yum!
I also bought a book today, ‘A Guide to Trees’. It was only 99p & I have some what of a fascination on trees, especially coconut palms, cherry blossom & monkey puzzle!
I hope you have all had a wonderful day!

Thank you Nensi, I am so happy I have finally found a way to make thistrend work for me 🙂 xxx
I really love the black dress and scarf. I’ve never been able to come across a maxi dress with long sleeves so I’ll definitely check this out.
I keep forgetting it’s winter over thee! That’s a very nice, simple dress.
I wish it wasn’t, I am not fond of winter at all! 🙂
