As I mentioned in my earlier post, after I finished my shift I took a trip to the Clarins counter at my local Debenhams. They had a special offer in which you could choose 3 luxury travel size products with 2 or more purchases, one to be skin care.

I had a gift voucher to use which I received for Christmas & I also had £5.00 of points on my Beauty Card – bonus! I have wanted to try Clarins Delicious Self Tanning Cream for a while now since it has excellent reviews & it was highly recommended in the Debenhams Beauty Awards 2012. I also wanted the Clarins Liquid Bronze Self Tanning for Face & décolleté. I asked the Clarins Assistant & she said that I would qualify for the fre gift – yay!

Handy Tip – always get to know the assistants on your favourite Beauty counter because you tend to get lots of bonuses & free gifts. I have done this & I always get freebies when I shop there since she knows I am a loyal customer. I asked if I could possibly have 2 of the same free gifts & one different instead of 3 all different. She agreed! I picked 2 Beauty Flash Balms, both 30ml each, it is £28.00 just for a 50ml so I was SO happy with this. I wasn’t sure which gift to choose next until she recommended the Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser for Normal/Combination Skin. The lady told me it was a really good product & I came home to find it has excellent reviews!

My only problem is that she accidentally sold me the Self Tanning Milk inside of the Liquid Bronze Self Tanning for Face & décolleté which is what I wanted – oops. I will need to pop back in tomorrow to get it swapped over. It is the same price so it shouldn’t be too much of a hassle.

I also paid nothing for my Self Tan once my £5.00 points got deducted & then I used my gift card – perfect!

She even packaged all my products in a lovely bag!
