On Saturday I was offered a new job! It seems that boohoo.com is attempting to make it on the highstreet. After already planting its roots online and doing quite well, the owner wants a trial at being available on the highstreet. The only catch is that it will be under a different name. Same clothes, different name!
I guess it is a trial run to see how it goes but I am excited to be involved. I start next Monday and I will be helping to put out all the stock and visually merchandise it I will then continue to work on that section. There are a few catches to my new position but the job is permenant and it will be good for my experience.
I am also hoping to still work a few hours at my current job. I currently work for a Designer Department Store. I am part of the web team and I write descriptions for the garments on the website, visually merchandise it, do all the upselling and write pieces for the blog, emailers and social networking sites.
