So Happy I Could Cry

Aloha! Wow, what a day. This morning my wonderful Fiance bought us tickets to see one of my most favourite bands, Queens of the Stone Age. I am  SO excited I could cry.

Josh Homme

Meet Mr. Josh Homme…can’t wait to see him in November!! If you don’t know who Queens of the Stone Age are then check them out… they are amazing!

Holiday Shopping 001

I went out today & bought their new album ‘….Like Clockwork’ so far it is amazing.

Anyway, after all that excitement I went holiday shopping to get the final bits & pieces.

Holiday Shopping 009

First on my list was lots of Hawaiian Tropic. I love their products, anything that smells of coconut is a must have for me. I picked up some Beach Balm & After Sun which will be perfect for my trips to Gran Canaria & Tenerife.

Holiday Shopping 008

I also managed to pick up another Flower Crown. This is from Primark & was only £3.00. It is however, rather, large & I am a little nervous to wear it. It does look so pretty & I will most likely keep it & wear it on holiday with a maxi dress.

Holiday Shopping 003

Now, I know I didn’t need any more rings but these cuties were a bargain in H&M & I couldn’t resist. Simple as that!

Holiday Shopping 004

I also bought a new jar of Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. I adore this foundation & it will be perfect for wearing on hot evenings on holiday.

Holiday Shopping 006

I had no time to snap a picture of my outfit but it basically consisted of a maxi skirt (what else?) & lots of accessories. Love my cuff? I will have one for sale on my Etsy Store soon plus lots more boho additions – woo hoo!

I hope you are all having a wonderful day. I am finally getting a chance to relax & listen to my Queens of the Stone Age album – bliss!

I Should Have Been An Island Girl

Aloha! Sorry I didn’t post yesterday, they closed one of the roads off when I was on my way home & I had to drive back to my Fiance’s house & get directions! This meant, by the time I got home it was late & I was tired. I now have time to catch up on my outfits this weekend.

Dress

Snapshot_20130615_1

I wore this cute dress on Saturday. We did a little shopping & I didn’t actually buy anything, at all!

Today we had a trip to the Retail Park to make some amendments to our holiday to Tenerife. I managed to find the perfect beach bag in TK Maxx. It is more of a basket & it is so colourful & pretty. It was only £6.99 which is fab! I also picked up another maxi skirt (eek!) in my defense it was only £7.99 which is a really good price. My final purchase was some Vanilla & Coconut Foot Creme – smells so yummy. I have 2 weeks off work & so I am spending all next week finishing projects & preparing for my trip to Gran Canaria with my Parents – exciting!

Here is todays little outfit.

Sunday Dress

I wore a beautiful Art Deco inspired Kimono which I received as a present from my Fiance Mum. I adore Kimono’s & this one is so pretty & I love the Art Deco period.

I had a quick look at some Wedding brochures today, I really want to get married in Maui, Hawaii. I should have been an Island girl!
I hope you have all enjoyed your weekend!

We’ve Got To Hold On To What We’ve Got

Aloha! I hope you sang the title of this post! I went to see Bon Jovi last night in Sunderland & they were fantastic! The stage was amazing & they put on a really good show. I got some really great pictures that I will post on Monday.

Sunderland 032

Jon Bon Jovi really knew how to get the crowd going & it was a wonderful night.

I managed to do a tiny bit of shopping (of course!) & picked up a Maxi Dress in Primark. It is Tie Dye & will be perfect for wearing on the beach. I am off to Gran Canaria in 2 weeks & then I am going to Tenerife in August.

Sunderland 029

It just needs a little adjusting because it is a little long for me, damn being 5’2!

Sunderland 028

This is the outfit I wore to travel home in. Another maxi dress ensemble pulled in at the waist with a belt. I completed my look with a statement necklace, this adds a little interest to an otherwise plain outfit.

Sunderland 025

This was today’s breakfast! Not very healthy, I know, but it was just a quick breakfast before we have to dash for the train. I had to make it home in time to get to work. Thankfully I am off for a whole 2 weeks – woo hoo!

I hope you have all had a lovely week. I have a few projects to finish next week & also I need to start packing for my holiday!

Aloha! I am preparing to travel to Sunderland to watch Bon Jovi live tonight!! I just have time to quickly show you this beautiful ring I am wearing. It is so pretty, it kinda reminds me of space or the night sky.

Ring

I hope you all have a lovely day. I will post again tomorrow & let you know how the gig was!
