Reviving My Love of Kimonos

I bought a really quirky top/dress from work the other day. It is originally from Boohoo.com and I bought it for only £4. It has an asymmetrical hem and looks great worn loose or with a belt to pull the waist in. I think it looks really good worn with a kimono. I love quirky and unusual looks so this was a must buy for me.

Sorry about the light in this picture, the sun was really bright through my window yesterday. I have teamed my top with my coral belt from Dorothy Perkins and my Embroidered Border Kimono from ASOS.

 Here it is again paired with my Art Deco inspired Kimono from Miss Selfridge.

I have placed my aztec bandeau underneath because the arm holes are rather wide and expose quite a lot of my sides!
I can’t wait to start wearing it this Summer.

Outfit Update

I just wanted to show you what I plan to wear over my H&M Peace Maxi Dress. I bought this sweater from H&M about 4 months ago now. I love it because it reminds me of something that ‘Free People’ would make, plus it was only half the cost!

I would also like to team it with a knitted vest also from H&M.

I love casual relaxed ‘just of the beach’ looks from summer time. I will be teaming both my outfits with my ever faithful Havaianas!

H&M Peace Dress

Okay so as I mentioned in my last post updating my blog has been alittle hard recently due to laptop problems. I now have my new laptop so I am back to blogging full time woo hoo! I was at work this morning but when I arrived home I changed into this maxi dress. It is the first time I have worn it and I totally love it! I added my tribal necklace that I bought from Forever 21 for the bargain price of £3.90! This dress is so comfy and it is perfect for creating a casual look with my Havaianas.

I have a interview on Friday so I am looking forward to that. I hope I get this new job!

Back To Blogging Full Time

I am typing this from my new laptop! It is a beautiful turquoise colour and is so bright and fresh, perfect for a hippy like me. My old laptop was 5 years old and was becoming really slow and crashing alot. This meant I couldn’t blog as much as I wanted to. So today I finally bought a new one. This means I will be back to blogging full time again woo hoo! i have been at work today and I am also working tomorrow morning. Outfit post coming soon……

I am a huge fan of maxi dresses as you know, another of my favourite styles is t-shirt maxi dresses. I already have a grey and a black one that I bought some time last year. Whilst browsing New Look I found these Slub Tee Maxi Dresses which are available in grey and navy. They are perfect for creating a casual yet chic look this season.

I realise I have been MIA lately but my laptop is dying and I really need to get a new one. I hope to get a new one tomorrow or Wednesday so I will be back to blogging every day once again! My outfit wasn’t on for long today as I had to change into my work uniform. It has been another beautiful hot, sunny day here today and earlier I was sitting in the garden enjoying it.
